Was it because she's a woman?
Is it because she didn't interview well?
Is it because she didn't define how her administration would differ from Biden's?
Is it because the Republicans were selling fear?
Because the Biden-Harris administration for the last four years didn't sell their policies well? (Democrats have a bad habit of explaining too many details of policy instead of quick bullet points on how they'll benefit all Americans.)
Is it because "rural folk" thought VP Harris hated guns and they didn't want their guns taken away (Even though she publicly said she's a gun owner on several occasions.)
Is it because the majority of Americans didn't study civics in school?
Is it due to Putin's influence in the election?
Is it because the Democratic National Committee has not built a robust network of local operatives in cities and states throughout the country? (Something Howard Dean suggested in 2004?)
Is it because they didn't like pronouncing the name "Kamala?"
Was it due to very, very wealthy people giving more money to the Republicans? (Are these wealthy Republicans looking for a Quid Pro Quo?)
Was it because Harris was asked several times how her administration would be different from Biden's but she failed to clearly and repeatedly outline those differences?
Is it because Biden should have dropped out earlier to enable an open primary? (Perhaps getting someone new running who could differentiate themselves from Biden and Harris?)
Is it because X (Twitter) does not have a built in AI fact-checker for lies, misinformation and disinformation?
Was it due to the Biden administration being heavily influenced by the Jewish lobby? (Arab-Americans not having the political clout to compete with well funded and strong Jewish lobbying groups regardless of how many innocent women and children are killed in Gaza?)
Is it because she has darker skin? (The perception among many American men is that she's Indian, no, she's Black – does she know what she is?)
Did she preach too much joy and hope when many working-class people struggled to pay for groceries for their families?
Is it because many voters felt betrayed by VP Harris, Jill Biden and political operatives that have ignored for several years that Biden is not fit to run for president? (Many Democratic voters have also felt that betrayal; they felt lied to for the last few years.)
Was it due to voters being also angry at high home and car insurance rates, primarily driven by climate change?
Is it because Americans don't want to spend any more money supporting Ukraine against the aggressor, Russia?
Is it because the majority of voters support "law and order" and yet ignored the fact that Trump has been convicted of 34 felonies and more charges were pending?
Is it because progressive folks don't have an equivalent to Fox News, Americano Media (the Latin Fox News), Sinclair broadcasting, or right wing fear radio stations that cover the "Middle" of our country?
Was it because Biden's Attorney General, Merrick Garland, didn't start to bring charges against Trump in early 2022 instead of waiting until the end of 2023 to bring felony charges against Trump?
Is it because of the perception that illegal immigration is out of control? (Do undocumented
immigrants only cross the border illegally during 2021-2024 and none of this occurred during the first Trump administration? (2017-2020?)
Is it because some mayors and governors in New York and Illinois support these illegals when there are many poor Americans in those states who could use financial support?
Is it because some "woke" left-wing democrats are constantly pushing non-woke people to express new terms about LGBTQIA+…Or pushing the Latinx term? (We still have time to complete the entire alphabet...)
Was it because many people thought the economy was better when Trump was in office?
Is it because over the last 20-30 years, democratic leaders claimed demography among Mexican-Americans would eventually tilt the balance to Democrats? (That prognostication never materialized.)
Is it because many Americans are lazy, wanting to spend more time on their mobile devices, gambling on sports and watching reality TV instead of objectively spending just a few hours researching the issues?
Was it due to the awful and unpopular term "Defund the Police," that a very small portion of the left wing embraced several years ago?
Was it because they blamed Harris for crashing our economy even though she was VP and wasn't necessarily in that ultimate position to effect change in our economy?
Is it because those voting for Trump didn't like his personality but liked his policies?
Is it because many women voting for Trump said publicly that America isn't ready for a female president?
Is it because in some large U.S. cities that thief's were not held accountable if the items they stole were less than $1000?
Is it because Harris rarely went into the Republican social media circles to explain how she would help all Americans?
Is it because the Harris campaign had a distinct edge in getting celebrities to endorse her while some Americans struggled to buy groceries? (Will celebrities help me afford groceries during high inflation?)
Did they vote for Trump, not knowing that his administration could effectively stop enforcing civil and voting rights laws?
Was it because Trump is going to "drill, baby drill" to bring our nation's gas prices under $2 per gallon? (Enabling many American men driving gas-guzzling vehicles to not have to change their driving habits?)
Was it because Secretary of Agriculture Vilsack was in the Witness Protection Program? Where was he in the last several years, explaining what the Biden administration was doing to help address inflation?
Did they vote for Trump because they wanted the government to make cuts to Medicaid, Medicare, and Social Security?
Was it because Biden didn't settle for just serving one term, as he had earlier promised, but because he wanted an engaged process to democratically decide on the next Presidential Democratic nominee?
Was it due to many Americans not realizing that, according to the CDC, more than 100 million “wild aquatic birds, commercial poultry and backyard or hobbyist flocks” have been infected with bird flu since January 2022? (If some consumers are gauging inflation issues primarily on the cost of eggs, solely blaming the Biden administration doesn't paint an accurate picture of what occurred.)
Did they vote for Trump because many Americans aren't interested in how the EPA may ignore environmental degradation?
Was it because the Biden administration was laxer when it came to illegal migration and waited three years to enforce unlawful border crossings effectively?
Was it because under the Biden administration, America produces the most amount of oil in its history? (Even though the majority of Americans are not aware that this nation is now oil energy independent ?)
Did they vote for Trump because voters favor repealing the Affordable Care Act?
Did they vote for Trump because they want more strict abortion measures through the Food and Drug Administration?
Why did Kamala Harris lose? If I could quote James Carville, "IT'S THE ECONOMY, STUPID!
I'm including one more note by a unknown, online progressive voter about the state of the election results:
I was raised by conservative parents and for the conservatives that I lived with and grew up with, character is everything: working hard, speaking the truth, never blaming, taking responsibility for one's own actions, playing fair, being gracious in victory and humbly accepting defeat; holding fast to your faith in your God and yourself and respecting others. And yet how quickly conservatives have been willing to jettison those values in their support of the shabby character of Trump. I thought they would finally reject him based on their own value system. Unfortunately, I had too much faith in many of my fellow Americans that they'd vote based on the values they were taught when they were young.
