Stamps On Refrigerated Grocery Products

At the grocery store, stores should accurately stamp the expiration date on their products. I know some items get moist or are damp and are unreadable. I also know sometimes the ink from the date stamp gets smeared and is unreadable.

I’m more careful than I used to as I’ve been burned with sour cream, yogurt or cheese expiring a week after purchase. Being more careful will add value to the refrigerated products I purchase.

Today, at the Vernon Hills Super Target, the expiration date on a carton of eggs was not readable. So what do you think I did? I put back the eggs and moved on. Someone lost a sale.
